During the development and manufacture of the TRITON SP, we used longevity and solidity as a basis. Many components and materials used are found in high-end RC cars. In the event of a breakdown, Team Corally guarantees a 100% supply of spare parts.
Longevity and robustness
In order to be able to withstand different terrains and surfaces, it is important that the TRITON SP is extremely robust and durable. This Monster Truck is made with the best materials. All chassis and suspension parts are made of special HiCC8 composite material. This composite material has been specially formulated for Team Corally to ensure the resistance and longevity of the parts.
Team Corally does not believe in plastic drive components. That's why the TRITON SP comes standard with steel driveshafts and wheel axles, a hard-wearing metal gear transmission and an adjustable Pro slipper clutch to distribute the forces. The transmission of the TRITON SP is even ready to receive the most powerful brushless motors. In short, you don't need expensive option parts to make your TRITON SP ultra-powerful.
Frame
The TRITON SP has a monocoque chassis made of special HiCC8 composite material. The design guarantees extraordinary rigidity and resistance to torsion of the chassis. The chassis has been raised, creating significant ground clearance. Uneven terrain with large drop-offs is no problem for the TRITON SP. The short wheelbase makes the TRITON SP extremely pleasant to drive. By accelerating quickly, the TRITON SP stands cheerfully on the rear wheels.
Suspension
To tackle rough terrain, a good suspension system is extremely important. The TRITON SP is equipped with oversized suspension elements made of special HiCC8 composite material. The shock absorbers are of the "Big Bore" type (ø16mm), with more volume and therefore better damping compared to the smaller shock absorbers which are fitted as standard on 1/10 models. The shocks are threaded for easy and precise spring tension adjustment.
Tires
The TRITON SP comes with Monster Truck tires that have no problem overcoming stones, sand, asphalt or other surfaces. The composition of the rubber is chosen such that good grip is available in all conditions.
Motor and transmission
The TRITON SP is fitted with a powerful Speed-X 550 - 15 rpm electric motor. This engine provides the perfect balance of power, speed and ride time. The TRITON SP comes standard with steel driveshafts and wheel axles, a hard-wearing metal gear transmission and an adjustable Pro slipper clutch to distribute the forces. The differential is fitted with 6 "Ultra Resistant" satellite pinions. The solid transmission of the TRITON SP is even ready to receive the most powerful brushless motors.
Electronic
The TRITON SP is equipped with a Varioprop® S2R proportional digital radio control with interference-free 2.4gHz technology. The range is at least 300m. The radio control has different adjustment possibilities such as: Dual rate, EPA, very precise Trims, etc... The receiver is equipped with a special protective coating against humidity and splashing water.
The installed Varioprop® CR-7209 steering servo is digital type and very powerful for cars of this category. Servos with similar performance and characteristics should normally be purchased as an option. It is waterproof, precise, fast and has an extraordinary torque of 9kg/cm. It also has an aluminum casing for better cooling,
The CORA-40 “Brushed” electronic speed controller is specially designed by HW for Team Corally. The CORA-40 electronic speed controller is water resistant and suitable for Ni-MH and LiPo batteries. The CORA-40 variable speed drive is equipped with various safety devices such as overload, overheating, undervoltage, etc.
Wheelie Bar
The TRITON SP is powerful and likes to roll on its rear wheels. This is why we have installed a "Wheelie Bar" as standard. Start and accelerate and roll on the rear wheels thanks to the wheelie bar.
Body
The TRITON SP comes with a polycarbonate body. Polycarbonate is known as an extremely strong and impact-resistant plastic. The bodywork is already painted in a beautiful metallic blue color, with attractive decor and an effective roll bar.
Ready to Roll - RTR
The TRITON SP is delivered fully pre-assembled. When you take your Monster Truck out of its box, you have nothing left to assemble. Just charge your battery, put it in the car and the fun can begin
However, the TRITON SP is delivered without battery and without charger. Here we leave the rider completely free to make his choice when selecting a battery for more speed or range, and the battery charger, basic or high-end with more possibilities for the future.
