Q: I can't find the product I am looking for
A: The easiest way to find an item on our website is by using our "SEARCH" box. The Search box is located on the upper right side of the homepage on desktop computers and can be found on the dropdown menu on the upper left side on mobile devices. Our system search uses "keywords" to help you find your product. Try to enter one or two "keywords" of the item you are looking for, not the whole title of the item, or if you know the part number, enter JUST the number, not the prefix. Example: Enter 2820X, not TRA2820X
If you are still unable to find what you are searching for, send us a message via email or facebook or give us a call at 607-296-4600. The item you are searching for may just not be uploaded to our website yet, we can upload it in about 15 minutes for you so that you can purchase it.
Q: I am having problems completing checkout/receiving an error message that my order will not go through or I am unsure if my order went through
A: A common problem at checkout is not entering the correct zip code for the billing address of your credit/debit card. This is a security feature to mitigate fraud. You MUST enter the billing address and zip code that the card you are attempting to use has on file for you. If you are unsure, please contact your bank or credit card company. Do not attempt to checkout more than 4 times without making a correction or the systems security feature will temporarily lock you out. You may try again in 15 minutes when the lock is released. Q: I tried to use the Klarna financing option at checkout and it won't go through
A: Klarna is a third party financing company we partnered with to offer the convenience of payments to our customers. Small Addictions RC has no control over approvals or denials of purchases. Q: I bought an RC car/truck/boat/plane/drone from Small Addictions RC and am having problems or have questions
A: The owners manual included with your purchase is an invaluable tool, be sure to read it cover to cover. If there is something that is confusing to you or you still have some questions, please contact us at 607-296-4600 or send us a message via email or facebook. All brands that we carry also have very helpful tech support lines for customers to use- visit your brands website to find the phone number for their support line. When calling the store, please be as specific as possible as to what product you purchased and have the product in front of you during the call so that we can best help you troubleshoot. If you are local to our area and are having trouble, we recommend bringing your vehicle in to the store so that we can best help you with troubleshooting your issue.

Q: Is everything on your website in stock in your store?
A: Yes. All items showing in stock on our website show accurate quantities of what we have in the actual store. Our inventory system automatically updates stock every 15 minutes.
Q: Do you sell used RCs or accept trades?
A: In order to offer our customers the best possible products and manufacturer warranty support, we do not sell used or take trades at this time
Q: Where can I find my part number?
A: Every RC we sell comes with an owners manual. Inside of the manual, you will find an "Exploded" view of your RC. Locate the broken part on your RC and find the part number in the corresponding "Exploded" view. If you have misplaced your manual, find your vehicle on our website (or the manufacturers website) and you will find a link to your manual on the vehicles page under the "Resources" tab.
Q: Do you work on Nitro RCs?
A: No we do not
Q: Do you offer repair service?
A: We offer repair service to our in-store customers only at this time. Our labor rate is $40/hour. We cannot guarantee same day service, we highly recommend dropping your RC off if you need repairs beyond what you are capable of doing yourself.
Q: What brands do you carry?
A: We carry most hobby grade RC brands and lines. We do not sell or service DJI Drones at this time. We also are not able to service toy grade RC products purchased from big box stores such as Walmart or those purchased on sites such as Amazon.
Q: When will my order ship?
A: Most orders ship within 24-48 hours after payment is processed. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships.
Q: Where is my order?
A: After placing your order, you will receive an email to the address you provided confirming your purchase, followed by an email when your package is shipped that will contain your tracking number. Please send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unable to locate your tracking number or you have concerns about your shipment. Please note that once your package leaves our facility, we do not have control over the shipping carriers and any delays or lost packages. Please see our shipping policy
