A spring-powered wooden tram you build from 374 laser-cut parts. The ROKR City Tram runs on stored energy from a hand-wound spring lever and steers under a working brake lever. It rolls across flat surfaces under its own power, then sits on a shelf as a finished 19th-century streetcar model.
Wind the spring lever and the ROKR City Tram travels up to twelve lengths on a single charge, with the brake lever controlling when and how it stops. The drivetrain is entirely mechanical — no motor, no batteries — and the chassis, body panels, and roof detail rebuild the look of a late-1800s streetcar in laser-cut wood. Five hours of assembly, 374 parts, and a finished model that switches between rolling demonstrations and quiet shelf display.
