The small scale of the MINI-Z Racer is ideal for driving indoors and for people just becoming familiar with R/C cars. This MINI-Z RWD Readyset includes a renewed 2-wheel drive chassis at its core. Previous Readyset packages incorporated the 3rd generation MR-03 chassis, but the new RWD Readyset includes the 4th generation MR-04 chassis that was first released in 2023. While retaining some basic elements of the MR-03 design, the new MR-04 demonstrated its lower center of gravity and remodeled steering design with blistering speed and excellent handling in the top-of-the-line EVO2 debut model. The MR-04 chassis is mounted with R/C system and features a completed body finished to display model standard. This Readyset includes the same standard MR-04 chassis as other high-end MR-04 models and includes user-friendly 130-class brushed motor and the reliable Syncro KT-531P pistol grip transmitter. Just insert 4 x AAA alkaline batteries into both the car and the transmitter, and you’re ready for the fun to begin. High-performance comes straight from the standard setup, but you can tune up for elite-level performance with a wide range of MINI-Z optional parts. With its dynamic maneuverability display model finish, the updated MR-04 chassis takes the authentic R/C experience to a higher level. 
Advanced MR-04 Chassis
The MR-04 chassis builds on the success of the MR-03 with improvements that enhance handling and stability. A lower center of gravity improves cornering and straight-line performance, giving you a more responsive driving experience. The updated front suspension system maintains optimal tire contact, increasing grip and steering accuracy. These refinements make the MR-04 an excellent choice for both casual drivers and competitive racers.
Improved Steering
The MR-04 features updated front knuckles with integrated kingpins that reduce scrub, allowing for sharper and more controlled steering. Enhanced ball bearings minimize rotational resistance, providing smoother and more efficient operation. The rear suspension is equipped with a coil spring damper to absorb track shocks, with the option to upgrade to an oil-filled shock absorber for improved stability on challenging surfaces.
Customization & Versatility
Designed for maximum versatility, the MR-04 supports full ball bearing specifications and is compatible with a variety of optional parts. The geared differential ensures smooth cornering, while the optional gyro unit (KYOMZW711 - sold separately) offers even more precise control. - The car is powered by four AAA alkaline or rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries. The batteries are mounted lower than the MR-03, lowering the center of gravity of the entire chassis to deliver improved cornering stability and straight-line handling.
- Geared differential (gear diff) delivers smooth cornering.
- Front suspension dynamically aligns the camber angle with movement of the upper arm to maintain optimal tire contact during cornering. Revised caster angle also delivers improved steering response.
- Full ball bearing specifications
- All axles are equipped with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. The same size ball bearings are used for both front and rear for spare parts efficiency.
- Can be fitted with an optional gyro unit (MZW711) for even easier control. Gyro sensitivity can be adjusted using the volume on the chassis.
- Flexibility of the T-bar rear suspension plate that holds the entire rear pod, including the motor and rear axle, produces excellent suspension effect. Optional parts are also available in FRP and carbon.
- Compatible with wide range of MINI-Z Racer optional parts so you can enjoy tuning and enhancing your model.
- The rear suspension uses a coil spring damper to cushion shocks from the road surface and improve driving stability. It can also be upgraded to an optional oil-filled shock absorber.
- When changing from the standard body, a parts set is included to change the front tread (vehicle width) to match the non-standard body to be installed. Rear tread can be changed by changing the wheel offset.
- Includes Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a steering wheel that mimics the steering wheel of a real car and pistol-grip throttle (speed control). Adjust the neutral position of steering and throttle with trims, as well as steering angle with dual rate adjustment. It is also possible to operate in training mode with a reduced vehicle speed (training mode is the default setting).
