   Stock- Salvas Dirt Mudboss rules, must run Jaco 2040lp, 2050lp or 2055lp tires.

    RPM rear bumpers allowed. 23/86 gear rule, Stock Traxxas 12T motor/ESC only.

   Original Rear (TRAXXAS 5858) and Front springs (TRAXXAS 5857)

   (no LCG kit springs or aftermarket springs)

1 Body
1.1- 
Any “Dirt Modified” style body

2 CHASSIS
2.1 - 
Any Plastic tub, center mount battery, Short Course Truck chassis allowed. (No Mid Motors)
2.2 -
Stock plastic parts maybe replaced with aftermarket plastic parts (Such as RPM)
2.3 - 
Front steering hubs may be replaced with Aluminum. (Only Aluminum part allowed)
2.4 -
Front bumper, right side bumper and front body post brace must be removed
2.4.1 -
Left side and rear bumpers can also be removed (if desired) **rear RPM bumper is allowed**
2.5 -
TRAXXAS front optional bumper (TRA2735) can be used (angled down) No exposed front bumpers.

Major alterations to the chassis or modification to drivetrain/suspension components is not allowed

4 ADJUSTMENTS
4.1 - 
Any size spur/pinion gear. (Must be factory kit make)
4.2 -
Full factory slipper system must be used. (No direct drives)
4.3 -
No modifications can be made to the transmission’s case (ie.. to allow a bigger gear ratio)
4.4 -
The gear cover must be off at all times to allow for visual inspection
4.5 -
The only adjustments allowed to the car are those allowed by the original MFG components of the car
4.6 - 
No adjustable control arms
4.7 -
Transmission functionality rule (motor can not spin while turning slowly one rear wheel a full turn)

5 SUSPENSION
5.1 -
 May run any shocks. (can be aluminum and aftermarket)
5.2 -
 May run any suspension springs
5.3 -
The shock’s travel may be shortened with internal shims (ie..fuel tube or solid shims...)
5.4 -
All suspension parts must remain in original positions it was designed for
5.5 - Plastic or steel drive axles only, No aluminum or titanium


6  WHEELS/TIRES
6.1 - Any combination of Jaco 2040LP, 2050LP or 2055LP ONLY
6.2 -
JACO tires can be trued
6.3 -
Plastic Wheel cap are allowed with a max dia of 3.125” and must be secured with a min of 2 screws/wheel
6.4 -
You may use a bead of “CA” type glue or ‘’tape’’ to the tire’s side wall to reduce the car’s aggressiveness
6.5 - 
SXT traction compound allowed only
6.6 - 
Use of mild cleaner ok (Simple Green, motor spray)
6.7 - 
If tires are “Wet” at tech, you will be DQ for that round.

6.8 - Aluminum wheel hexes allowed.

SCT Late Model Class
    

    Any SCT chassis, open motor/ESC, must run Jaco 2040lp, 2050lp or 2055lp tires.

    No gear rule.
    Must run any 1/8th scale late model body or any JConcepts Scalpel body.

**Rules that apply to all classes**
Weight is allowed on SCT Late Model class only. All weight must be secured properly. All weight will be subject to approval from track personnel. 
No rubber tires will be permitted in any class. 
2 cell lipo or 7 cell NiMH batteries only. No batteries charged over 8.44 volts.

The Novice class is for entry-level drivers that are new to RC racing.

The rules for this division are:

Chassis: Any 2wd 1/10th electric off-road competition vehicle or 1/10th RTR vehicle with RTR electronics.

We strongly discourage the use of 4wd vehicles in this division.

Motor: Any brushed/brushless motor or the original RTR power system for your specific vehicle

Batteries: 6-7 cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any rubber tires are allowed.

Bodies: Any body style is allowed.

Minimum Weight: None.

 

17.5 Buggy

The 17.5 Buggy division is for intermediate/advanced racers who wish to run 2wd buggies with stock/spec motors.

The rules for this division are:

Chassis: Any 1/10th off-road 2-wheel drive buggy style chassis.

Motor: ROAR Approved stock 17.5 spec brushless motor.

ESC (Electronic Speed Control): ROAR Approved Non-Timing ESC’s, “Blinky” only

Batteries: 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries (8.44v)

Tires: Any wheel with rubber tires intended for the class is allowed.

Bodies: Any 2WD buggy body intended for the class.

Minimum Weight: 1500 grams.

Pro-Lite Buggy

The Pro-Lite Buggy division is for intermediate racers who wish to run 2wd buggies with stock/spec motors.

You will not be eligible for advanced racer classes when you run this class.

The rules for this division are:

Chassis: Any 1/10th off-road 2-wheel drive buggy style chassis.

Motor: ROAR Approved stock 13.5 spec brushless motor. 

Stock RTR motors in RTR kits only.

ESC (Electronic Speed Control): ROAR Approved Non-Timing ESC’s, “Blinky” only.

Stock RTR ESC in RTR kits only.

Batteries: 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries (8.44v)

Tires: Any wheel with rubber tires intended for the class is allowed.

Bodies: Any 2WD buggy body intended for the class.

Minimum Weight: None

Pro 2wd Buggy

The Pro Buggy division is for advanced/expert racers who wish to run modified motors,

and is one of the fastest and most demanding divisions at the track.

The rules for this class are:

Chassis: Any off-road 2-wheel drive buggy style chassis.

Motor: Any brushless motor. Generally, this class will be 13.5T motors and lower.

Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any wheel with rubber tires intended for the class is allowed.

Bodies: Any 2WD buggy body intended for the class.

Minimum Weight: None

13.5 4WD Buggy

The 4WD Buggy division is for Intermediate/advanced racers who wish to run 4-wheel drive buggies

with approved 13.5 motors for one of the most challenging and fastest divisions of racing at the track.

The rules for this class are:

Chassis: Any 1/10th off-road 4-wheel drive buggy style chassis.

Motor: ROAR Approved stock 13.5 spec brushless motor

ESC (Electronic Speed Control): ROAR Approved Non-Timing ESC’s, “Blinky” only


Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any wheel with rubber tires intended for the class is allowed.

Bodies: Any 4WD buggy body intended for the class.

Minimum Weight: 1613 grams

Over 40 2wd Buggy

The over 40 Buggy division is for intermediate/advanced racers who are 40 years or older.

This is a fun class for the veterans of the hobby.

The rules for this class are:

Chassis: Any off-road 2-wheel drive buggy style chassis.

Motor: Any brushless motor.

Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any wheel with rubber tires intended for the class is allowed.

Bodies: Any 2WD buggy body intended for the class.

Minimum Weight: None

Pro 2wd Short Course Truck

The Pro 2 Short Course Truck division class is a great class for advanced racers wishing to

compete with 2wd short course trucks and modified motors, and offers very realistic looking vehicles. 

The rules for this class are:

Chassis: Any off-road 2-wheel drive Short Course Truck style chassis.

Motor:  Any brushless motor. Generally this class will be 13.5T motors and lower.

Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any rubber tire/wheel designed specifically for short course trucks is allowed in this class.

1/8 Buggy tires are NOT allowed!

Bodies: Any short course truck style body.

Minimum Weight: None

Pro-Lite 2wd Short Course Truck

The Pro-Lite 2wd Short Course Truck division class is for intermediate racers who wish to

run 2wd SCT with stock/spec motors. You will not be eligible for advanced racer classes when you run this class.

The rules for this division are:

Chassis: Any off-road 2-wheel drive Short Course Truck style chassis.

Motor: ROAR Approved stock 13.5 spec brushless motor. 

Stock RTR motors in RTR kits only.

ESC (Electronic Speed Control): ROAR Approved Non-Timing ESC’s, “Blinky” only.

Stock RTR ESC in RTR kits only.

Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any rubber tire/wheel designed specifically for short course trucks is allowed in this class.

1/8 Buggy tires are NOT allowed!

Bodies: Any short course truck style body.

Minimum Weight: None

Stadium Truck

The Stadium Truck division is for intermediate/advanced racers who wish to be able to run 2wd stadium trucks with modified motors.  The rules for this class are:

Chassis: Any off-road 1/10 2-wheel drive stadium truck chassis (no short course truck chassis).

Motor: Any brushless motor. Generally this class will be 13.5T motors and lower.

Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2-cell hard case Li-Poly batteries

Tires: Any wheel with rubber tires intended for the class is allowed.

Bodies: Any 2WD truck body intended for the class.

Minimum Weight: None
